REAPER

Earlier, the crops were harvested manually. The traditional methods of harvesting were time consuming. The introduction of harvesting machines enables the farmers to timely harvest the crops. This paddy reaper can operate on the muddy land to harvest mature crops. The harvesting machine requires a person to hold and control its operations. This farm machine not only made the process of harvesting faster, but made the process safer in farms in plain, mountainous and hilly areas. Customers can select between the two models of this agricultural machine.

FAQ

The name reaper commonly refers to Paddy reaper. It is a machine that helps harvest the matured paddy crop, thus saving labour, and time for the farmer. The Hand Reaper Machine is usually fitted with small petrol or diesel engine of 4-5 hp in power output. There are a few different models in the market. There are just reapers, reaper cum binder, 2 rows, 4 rows, with/without turning the clutch, etc. Each machine has its own advantages and disadvantages. The user has to choose carefully based on their needs and farm layout.

The Hand Reaper Machine helps mainly in two areas

1. The farmer does not have to depend on manual labour to harvest. This helps the farmer get the best price for their harvest rather than wait for the labour to turn up at their convenience.

2. Saves time. A 4-row reaper can harvest 2.5 acres in 5 hours (subject to field conditions). This helps save any post-harvest crop loss that is usually caused due to the storage of crops until the entire harvest is finished, and exposure to rodents and other pests.
